A new Capture the Flag (CTF) challenge, Breach at the Beach, has been introduced to help defenders understand how attackers exploit Entra ID vulnerabilities. This free, hands-on simulation was created by Varonis to educate participants on investigating Entra ID attack techniques using realistic scenarios. The CTF is designed to mimic real-world attacks, allowing defenders to gain valuable experience in identifying and mitigating threats. By participating in the challenge, defenders can improve their skills in detecting and responding to state-aligned threat activity, which has significant geopolitical implications1. The Breach at the Beach CTF provides a unique opportunity for defenders to enhance their knowledge and stay ahead of emerging threats. This training is crucial for practitioners, as it enables them to develop the skills needed to protect against sophisticated attacks, so what matters most is that defenders take advantage of this resource to improve their defenses against Entra ID exploits.
