South Korea's first commercial Quantum-AI Hybrid Data Center has been launched by SDT, marking a significant shift from research to commercial quantum services. The facility, located in Gangnam, Seoul, features a 20-qubit superconducting quantum computer, known as "Kreo", which is fully integrated with NVIDIA DGX B200 GPU servers via NVQLink. This setup enables a "full-stack" environment, managed by QuREKA, SDT's hybrid quantum cloud platform. The integration of quantum computing and artificial intelligence capabilities is expected to drive innovation in various fields. The use of NVIDIA's technology, in particular, underscores the company's efforts to advance quantum computing and narrow the timeline for cryptographic migration1. As a result, the urgency for organizations to plan and implement post-quantum cryptography (PQC) increases, making it essential for practitioners to stay ahead of the curve. The launch of this data center highlights the growing importance of quantum computing in the industry, and its potential impact on cybersecurity and emerging technologies.
