Can someone steal your phone number?
Criminals trick your carrier into moving your number to their SIM card.
Then your calls and texts go to them, including your login codes.
In 2021, the FBI got 1,611 complaints, and more than 68 million dollars in losses.
Never give your phone account PIN to a caller. Hang up, and call your carrier yourself.
And don't advertise your crypto or finances online.
