Do you actually need a VPN?
A VPN routes your traffic through its own server. That hides your IP address, and the sites you visit, from the Wi-Fi.
The catch? The VPN company can see it instead.
It won't stop scam sites, and sites can still track you with cookies.
On public Wi-Fi, most sites already use HTTPS. Look for the lock.
So use one on networks you don't trust, from a company you do.
